I had the pleasure of serving as Peter's manager as part of our Programmatic team at WITHIN. Throughout the year that we worked together, Peter's acute organizational skills and commitment to his work were unquestionable. Mr Tran's video and still image asset creation skill's were needed in the time that he came to work for That Hashtag Show. In that time-frame (2017-2019), he shared his expertise with our producing team. Mr Tran created amazing bar-raising visual elements for our geek pop culture shows, as well as maintained a collaborative spirit with team members, which is a must in the digital space. To this day, he remains as one of our go to asset creators/consultants when we really need something outside of the box and need something created that is more advanced than our current team can do. I have the pleasure of working with Phat Tran at the Volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) program at Main South CDC. I am the VITA program coordinator, and Phat participates as Tax Preparer and Quality reviewer. The VITA program offers free tax help to the low-income community, elderly and people with disabilities. This year we have served around 400 clients. All participants must certify in tax law to prepare tax returns. Phat certified at the advanced level; he has demonstrated a deep knowledge of tax law and a natural ability to share his expertise in a pleasant and comprehensible manner. Phat (Peter) Tran has been instrumental in the growth of my startup, Back Alley Clothing. Phat is really on top of it when it comes to working on projects! I was very pleased to have him as an intern for the summer of 2019. He helped arkDigital get caught up & organized on our company dropbox where we file all of our clients' assets. Phat helped us retrieve and organize photos from one of our biggest clients, Tracee Ellis Ross. That specific project involved him going on an image search and downloading photos of our client per event. Then, a folder in dropbox would be created of said event, along with the year and of course the photos. It was an ongoing project that I was working on for a while, but Phat knocked it out of the park and finished it in a breeze. Besides working on Talent accounts, he also had the chance to work on an agency account that required retrieving and filing thousands of project photos from Interior Designers, Architects, and contractors; all of which he did flawlessly. Phat has many traits that make him a great person to work with: he's detail-oriented, he has excellent communication skills, he's very positive and he knows how to find the focus to sit through and complete a project to its entirety. I worked with Peter to produce motion graphics for use in live digital programming on both Twitch and YouTube. Phat truly dedicates his whole self to his work. Phat is one of the most genuine, hard-working and passionate creative professionals I've ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. While I was producing my feature film, Phat was a vital asset, offering key insight into moving the production forward. Not only did his genuine interest in the project shine by going above and beyond what was required of him, but he actively stayed involved in the project after his work was done, initiating meetings with potential talent and industry folk who could breathe more life into the project. While his ability to prioritize and work hard is evident in every move he makes professionally, Peter seems to also be an expert at balancing his life, making time for people not directly involved in his projects. Phat Tran is hands down the best designer I have ever worked with. First of all he really knows his stuff--every single design he works on goes way deeper and takes things like color and shape psychology into account. He's extremely versatile in the way that he can design to literally any specific genre/tone and every single product. One of the best things about Phat is that he has a large willingness to learn, meaning that if he's diving into a new project, he will do plenty of research until he feels proficient and confident in creating the design.

Besides being an amazing designer, Phat Tran is also a visionary. He analyzes the trends in the design market right now and creates new, hybrid trends before they even come out. Many times, I've seen Phat come up with designs months before the large tech companies implement these same design structures He knows the market before the market knows the market. He's also extremely insightful. If there's something that you're indecisive about, he'll help you come to a clear cut answer. If he sees a inconsistency with a proposed design, he'll voice it to you and help you come up with a solution.

He's one of the hardest workers I know, willing to work around the clock to complete his projects.
